Chargebacks usually result from customers disputing charges from a specific business, hence inquiring the card issuer to cancel the transaction.
In many cases, chargebacks cause challenges since the funds are usually held until the card’s issuer finalizes the entire process, which incorporates much paperwork and time. Fortunately, the chargeback issue is usually solved using a credit card authorization form because it ensures that the card owners reject chargebacks. After all, they have signed to charge cardholders.
Note: Credit card authorization cards solve the issue of chargebacks by making sure the card owner disproves chargebacks since they have signed to charge their cardholder.
Types of Credit Card Authorization Form (We will write short des on each type)
There are four main types of credit card authorization forms. They include:

How to Accept a Payment?

Step 1- Sale point

How to Fill-out a Credit Card Authorization Form

Step 1: Open, then download your authorization template

Start with a space labeled billing address. Here, state the account holder’s unit number, street name/number, and the building number as indicated on the account used to pay the merchant.
Below the street address, there is a blank space; use it to record your City, State, and zip code. It should be associated with the account holder’s billing address under a space labeled City, State, and zip. Remember to state the account holder’s email and number under the blank space labeled email and phone#.
Step 5: Offer the payment method being authorized
This step entails two boxes, the credit card and bank. Choose a single box and fill it out with the information required. Ensure you make the correct check box in this section. If you are approving the third party, it is appropriate that you use your checking or saving account for payment and mark the check box labeled Bank (ACH) and mark checking or savings.
You will also need to state the account holder’s full name on a blank line termed the account’s name. After that, offer the name of the bank account under the bank name. Next, provide the routing and account number. Finally, if you use your credit card to authorize the third party, mark a check box with a discover, Amex, MasterCard, and Visa label from the right side of the document.
Once you are through, state the credit card number you wish the payment should be made from on a space labeled account number. Last but not least, transcribe your credit card expiration date on a line labeled Exp. And fill in the three CVV digit codes associated with your credit card under a blank space labeled CVV.
Step 6: Acknowledge your authorization for payment information
To offer proof for approval, you should complete your acknowledgment statement. This should be after the dollar sign space. Commence with words such as you understand that the authorization has been made. And record the penalty to the account holder anytime the charges do not go through because of insufficient space. Contact the merchant to make this statement if this information is not available.
A credit card usually includes:
