What was the last promise you made to your project manager? If you’re like the rest of us – we make commitments and sometimes it’s hard fulfilling them. In the corporate world, there’s no room for error. When we break promises, we imply that we do not value our clients, or their time and we must therefore apologize.
Apology letter for delayed project submission
I take full responsibility for failing to submit the [report / project / documents] in due time. I made a promise that you would find the submission on your desk on [00 / 00 / 00 or time] but it wasn’t delivered until the next day. You must be disappointed. I know that I personally let you down and the organization didn’t meet its goals.
I sincerely hope that the inconvenience caused by my selfish actions didn’t result in financial loss or misappropriation of resources. Honestly, there are no excuses. I made a promise that I couldn’t keep, and I’ve learnt the hard way. From today henceforth, I will handle all corporate matters professionally. I’ll make allowances for future unforeseen events before making any promise
